Full day-Guided tour in
English. Normandy with its fishing harbors & resorts were
also the stage of the operation Overlord. At dawn of
June 6, 1944, where some of the most decisive battles were
fought, led by Gen Eisenhower, with the Allied invasion of German-held
Normandy.This tour is to the memory of the Allied Embarkment and
the men who fought for freedom.The full day excusion will be of
great emotional feelings and interest to World War II veterans
and their families.
We take the Western Highway out of Paris to Caen,where we will take a break & visit The Caen Memorial Museum,which is also know as The Peace Museum.After a lunch break(not included )we leave for the landing beaches with a stop at both the Pointe du Hoc and the American cemetery Saint-Laurent(9386 American troops lay to rest here) at Omaha Beach.

The cemetery is watched over byThe spirit of American Youth(20 foot high bronze statue).Then we travel on to Arromanche to take a look at the remains of the artificial bridge built in just two weeks. Return to Paris (arrival between 8.30pm > 9.30pm)
